Designing and leading marketing for an AI-powered mortgage startup.

FinQuantum is a B2B FinTech platform that helps lending professionals process mortgage pre-approvals faster with AI. I joined as a UX/UI and marketing intern during the summer of 2025, working with a team of 6 across marketing, design, and growth.

My focus was building the company's website and conducting B2B outreach, reaching out to 200+ lending professionals through phone and email to validate product-market fit and shape our go-to-market strategy. I also ran A/B tests on email graphics and messaging to optimize engagement.

What I learned.

Design can be learned and applied through research, and the best insights came from real conversations, not formal studies. Every phone call and interaction with lending professionals helped me understand how the field and market worked, which shaped better design decisions.
